Nothing in this section removes your rights where a product is faulty, materially different from its description or not of satisfactory quality.

6. Furniture measurements and access

Furniture customers are responsible for checking the product dimensions and ensuring the item is suitable for the intended space.

Before ordering, please measure:

  • Staircases

  • Lifts

  • Corners and turning spaces

  • The intended room or placement area

  • Any restricted delivery access

Please contact us before ordering if you are uncertain whether a large item can be delivered safely.

Where a product does not fit because the measurements or access information supplied by the customer were incorrect, the customer may be responsible for reasonable redelivery or return costs where those costs were clearly disclosed and legally permitted.

This does not affect your rights where the dimensions supplied by us were materially inaccurate.

7. Placing an order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an order acknowledgement by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.

A binding contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation or otherwise expressly confirm that we have accepted the order.

Delivery estimates begin after any stated processing period.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed to a guaranteed date.

You must ensure that:

  • An adult is available to accept delivery

  • The delivery address is accessible

  • Access routes are clear and safe

  • Any parking or entry restrictions are disclosed in advance

  • Suitable permission has been obtained for restricted premises

Unless expressly included in the delivery service, delivery may not include assembly, installation, packaging removal or moving existing furniture.

The exact delivery service available will be explained before purchase or when delivery is arranged.

13. Failed delivery

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • No authorised person is available

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete

  • Access is unsafe or unsuitable

  • Required delivery information was not provided

  • The customer refuses delivery without exercising a valid legal right

we may arrange redelivery or return the product to our facility.

Reasonable additional costs may be charged only where legally permitted and where those costs were clearly disclosed.

Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel an order. You must clearly notify us if you wish to exercise a cancellation right.

14. Risk and ownership

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession or to a person identified by you to receive them.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment and delivery has been completed.

15. Inspecting your delivery

Please inspect the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Contact us promptly if:

  • The packaging is visibly damaged

  • A product is damaged

  • Parts are missing

  • The wrong product was delivered

  • The product appears faulty

  • The product is materially different from its description

Where possible, retain the packaging and take clear photographs of the product, packaging and delivery labels.

A delay in reporting an issue does not automatically remove your statutory rights, but prompt notification can help us investigate and resolve the matter.

16. Assembly and product care

Some furniture may require assembly.

You must:

  • Follow the supplied instructions

  • Use the correct tools and fittings

  • Observe safety warnings

  • Ensure wall-mounted products are secured appropriately

  • Use a qualified professional where recommended

We are not responsible for damage caused solely by incorrect assembly, misuse, unauthorised alteration, unsuitable storage or failure to follow care instructions.

This does not affect your rights where the product, parts or instructions were faulty or inadequate.

17. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return goods and receive refunds are explained in our Refund and Return Policy.

For most eligible online purchases, you may notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning the day after delivery. You must then return the goods within a further 14 days.

Different rules may apply to faulty, damaged, personalised or bespoke goods.

Nothing in these terms or our Refund and Return Policy limits your statutory rights.

18. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Products must be:

Where a product does not meet these requirements, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

We may ask for reasonable information, photographs or proof of purchase to help assess the issue.

We will cover reasonable return or collection costs where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described and a return is required.

19. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the offer.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Codes cannot be used after their expiry date

  • Only one code may be used per order

  • Codes may apply only to selected products
